What it is & why it matters:
Our Local Outreach Initiative focuses on helping people in person through conversation, debate and real‑life interaction. This matters because not everyone can be helped online for many reasons.
How We Do It:
We carry out our local outreach through conversation, debate, real‑life interaction handing out leaflets and more.
Public conversations and debate give us the chance to speak with people and express why our worldview is important. This also shows the importance of civil dialogue. Often, people are more likely to listen when it is in person, though some people will always refuse to listen.
Handing out leaflets lets people who are interested take a look at what our site has to offer. This is useful for people who seem reluctant as well as for people who are interested because it gives them something to takeaway.
How to Help:
If you meet someone in person who seems to need support, you can direct them to our site or tell them what types of help are available. You can also print and hand out resources if you want.
*Sadly, we can’t currently do this Initiative
